My wife and I will be coming Saturday morning. I'm not sure if the 928 will make it because I've burned up my AAA gold card tows so I need to be carefull. It's still running like SH*T and does not look much better yet. I'll be bringing my usual "Sharkwater" Margaritas for all and a selection of brewskis too. I am not bringing any chairs though, because I left mine there last year..........assuming they're still there .

I may well be in the general area that weekend passing through on my way east from the west coast but will not know until closer to the time. Would be very keen for people to help in anyway with my little project as it winds its way to the coast.

Dave, I will be bringing my tools to dismantle the block. I want to keep the heads intact, but the rest of the block can be dismantled. If you know of any special tools that you have used in the past please bring them along. BTW, I took the SC off the other day and found another hole in the case. It is in the V between #3 and #7.

Will there be a OC membership chair at the even this year? My dues are up sometime soon (renewed last year in Hell). If so, I will make arrangements to settle up then, otherwise I will re-up online to make sure I am contributing to the T-shirt fund.

Yes there will be . We will also be signing up new members . Tee shirts will be same as last year if owers club member shirt is free to get 2nd a charge of $10. for non-members t's will be $20. to purchase or $28 to join get free t and t from o.c.

OK I am now going to make a concerted effort to get to the weekend. Subject to no break downs I would love help with the following.

Fixing my broken drivers side lock - i know what part is broken, I have a replacement and would love someone to look over my shoulder while I follow the rennlist write-up. The bit that looks like a hip joint has sheared off the cylinder.

Sunroof diagnosis - Do I have broken bits or does it just need a good clean out. You help me, I help you with cleaning bits of cars......I'll help anyone with anything menial - you gotta start somewhere! Not really a roadside repair but would love help with taking and putting back together!

Bowden cable adjustment - Have you done it? Can you give me advice?

Drive and Inspect - Tell me what else is wrong with this car!
