Official Sharks in Hell 2011 - Aug 5-7
The Michigan crew is getting together to host our 6th annual Sharks In Hell event: Event starts Friday evening Aug 5th and finishes up Sunday August 7th with the main event day being on Saturday the 6th. The event is held at Mark H's cottage in Hell (4339 Patterson Lake Road, Pinckney Mi 48139).
As in the past this is a family event. Please feel free to bring your spouse and kids. There is swimming, tubing, a paddle boat, fishing, etc. We will also have a bonfire on Friday and Saturday nights. Please keep the adult talk for when the kids aren't around.
We do make a reasonable attempt at a fun drive on Saturday, but let's face it, Michigan roads are mostly straight and flat (not to mention full of pot holes). But the people are what make these events so much fun and these people are great!
We'll update this thread as the date draws nearer with additional specifics about the event. Last year we have a number of people show up from out of town and had a great time.
To recap...
When: starts Friday evening Aug 5th and finishes up Sunday August 7th- Main event day will be Satuday Aug. 6th starting around 10AM
Where: Hell, MI (4339 Patterson Lake Road, Pinckney MI 48169)
Accomodations: Limited spots on the floor in the cottage, but plenty of space for tents. There is a Best Western about 15 miles away (PM me if you want more info) - but most people preferr to stay at the cottage or in a tent. If you want to bring a 5th wheel, I'm sure we can accomodate.
THIS IS A FREE EVENT! - We just ask that you bring a dish to pass or some drinks to share!
Food/Drinks:
BYOB or what every other party mixes.
If you can swing a dish to pass great, if not give us a hand to cook/clean up.
We have beds, floor space, and plenty of room for tents.
Beds available:
2 sets of bunk beds (4 single beds total – Host gets one of them)
2 double beds (each in their own room … if your sig other is attending too).
I'll grab a spot on the living room floor with my sleeping bag.
Please PM "Sharks" (Mark H. - Our host) to reserve a bed.

It will be tough for Dennis to top himself on last year's banner / t-shirts! I wear mine all the time.
Hope to make it again this year. One of the best, most chill 928 gatherings around!

It's a great event for anyone in the region! I'll be there with my annual supply of my "Shark Water" Margaritas and hopefully......my fully repainted wingless 928 with GTS mirrors, bodyside moulding & side lamp delete, and a re-freshed interior with a rear seat delete along with Hans & Paul's new switch and A/C controls (as well as a few other tasteful mods).
