Well it's after Christmas and car sales come to a stop for almost 2 months. He probalby needs to pay for overhead and has to generate some $$$$ quick.

I like the car, 5.4L manual, really can't get any better than that.

Tony, if the dealer is a 928 owner, maybe ask him to drive the car out to the GTG? He might be interested in connecting with the local 928 community, who knows.

Don, Great idea. I just got off the phone with Ray, and he will try and make it up to the GTG on Fri with that very nice 93 Amazon Green GTS. 77Tony

Not necessarily true. Prior to having the internet available to market cars it was true but, no longer. It's been my experience over the last 20 years (bought and sold 50+ vehicles) that it no longer matters the time of year when you sell a car. Also not necessarily true is that if you sell a car this time of year it's worth ~10-15% less than if you sell it during warmer months.

That's true, I have worked on several major automotive accounts, January and February volumes are low and deals are plentiful. Most people are tapped out after Christmas so big ticket purchases are killed.

A PPI was done last week and went well, and a deal has be made. It will be shipping to the NE soon. I'll let the buyer fill in the details.

I wish I could have taken it for a drive, but I was out of town some last week. Looks like a good deal!

How'd you know I am, ehhhh, I mean the buyer is, a Rennlister?

Don (and Roger) - thanks for your help on this one!

The dealer is tending to a thing or two before it ships up, so I likely won't have my hands on it for another week or two... I can't wait!

Did you decide to get the timing belt and water pump done before you take delivery? Envious here, love that color combination.

Nah, I would prefer to have my local shop do that once I have the car up here.

Thanks - I love the color too!
