The race footage wasn't very good....the 4 cars ahead of me were really fast and took off..... and I stayed in front of the Spec Miatas.....so I was almost a time trial

Congratulations!
My 1986.5 track car started out as an auto and I never really felt it gave away anything because it had an auto transmission.
The 928 is a great platform and your results, not to mention Mark A.'s, show that very well.
