Thanks mucho! Most appreciated. Don't need a can of it...just wanted to know what that color code was on the last US GTS is all. I think it is so unique someday I hope to replicate that look on a 928... Seems close to the color of Kermit, but maybe a bit more yellow in it... Love to see Kermit and Last US GTS side by side someday. We still don't know what happened to that car do we?!

That would be the whites then... Speaking of which, did we see Chifon white on a 928? In fact did we see any whites other than GPW and a few Pearl whites? Come to think of it I am not sure how many whites ever made it on the 928's anyway...hmmmm... Inquiring minds want to know!

Jim and AO...thanks so much. Man, both those cars a BEAUTIFUL! AO, how could you part with that car man? GORGEOUS! Not that the S/C'ed '91 isn't totally Bad A$$ too, but they are totally different and you really can't compare them. Love that Chiffon white!

I want to leave this thread open so that anybody can post up a pic of any color 928, with description.
We have run through all the colors and groups, so a color of the day or week is too limiting at this point.
I love looking at 928s in all the colors they came in from the factory.
Colin's old euro GT in amazon green. High quality repaint.

My MoccaBraun OB 79
The interior was pretty much scrapped as it had sat for 7 years in a barn, It was then resprayed in the original colour at minimal cost so a basic job really but good enough as it is going to be a race car eventually. Updated the fuse board to blade type fuses, removed unwanted wiring and vacuum systems from interior (you might see pipes by the centre console but they are inactive. Replaced a lot of pipes in the engine, for the fuel and the brakes, new tank cradle (stainless) + pump, filter and accumulator + other tank related pipes. Suspension is a little high at the moment, it is on new oil race shocks and springs (850 front 650 rear) but I need spring helpers before lowering it further. D90 wheels refurbished in Subaru gold, with track rubber. Decals inspired by a plastic model kit by Revell (love or hate them!). Later S2 gearbox fitted which also needed the crossmember and torque tube as they are different between S2 and 79 model. A/C and air pump delete and replaced viscous with electric fan.
160K miles on the engine now, it will last a couple of track and test days I suppose.
Next jobs are cage, fire supressing system and engine cut.
It is pretty fast (but not as fast acceleration with the later gearbox), very stiff and noisy as hell. I have owned it 18 months and only done about 300 miles so far.
Castle Combe UK track day in my 928
This was the first time on track in a car I didn't know very well so I was taking it easy.

Yes it had the GTS rear put on after a minor bump and the S4 type was NLA
I know of another in the same colour but when they were parked together they look different! (both same paint code).
As I bought it in 2006
After changing to clear lenses and cups (other car in back is sunset orange 350Z
And a fancy HDR shot (I do them better now) revealing the colour a bit more;

Ad, I looked at that color again and then thought about it some more and I am pretty sure the LAST US GTS was NOT 24H. That is way to green. I think that was a completely custom color and that is why when the car was completed it was being sold with several extra gallons of the paint. If it were a regular factory paint color they would not have put the "left over" paint in the car with it incase there was ever an accident as there would not BE "left over" it would have just been used on another car. I think I am going to have to find a high quality (that will prove difficult) image that is color correct and then match to that...if I ever get to do a tribute car...
