^^^MUCH better representation of the color than mine. I'll be really looking forward to the repaint when it's time. What's up with the Texas plate?

I used to live in Arlington and the plate was a keepsake I put on the car before I could get my NC plates. Your paint looks great from here. Are there some age problems up close?

It's a respray, and things like having the old "Porsche" decal on the rear were simply painted over. There are runs and cracks in places as well. It's a good 20" car. Maybe we'll get them side by side since you are in NC as well. You'll see what I mean. Coming to the NC meet in May? it's the second Saturday of every month starting next month.

Yea, I pushed the shadows to far on yours and they didn't email well... not sure why some pics don't email the way they looking on my monitor, but the pics of your car look much better on my computer when looking at them in iPhoto than they do having been uploaded from your computer.

You can pull the shadows back down a bit and make the pics look better Jon.

Ad, is the color on the left the Pearlglanz color as used on the last US GTS???? If so do you have a color code for that color? At some point I am going to need that info!

Well, I must disappoint you. My OB is OakGrün I think the code is L37. The headlightcover and the model are in Peridit green you must have heard about from the Cayman-R. I wonder if anyone (perhaps me) will repaint a 928 in that colour. I MUST come with some flashy wheels I guess. And perhaps some side lettering. I saw one yesterday in Amsterdam at the Autorai (bi-annual carshow). If you have some more info about that colour I think I can get you the code and recipy. I did so with the Peridot green. I just asked my local paintshop to search in their databse. It came up no problems. I had a spraycan made with it to paint the headlamp cover and model 928. I can do that for you too if you like. Costs anout EUR 26. Only if it is a pearl effect I don't know if I can put it in a can. That is mostly a 2 layer effect.

Yea! Mine is Mossgreen Metallic. I love the color, but it does need a respray because the PO lived on a dirt road and it has tons of little rock chips, cracks, etc. But I still love it!!

928 color of the day: BLUES. We have already done midnight blue and petrol blue.

There are so many blues that it is not possible to cram them in to one day.

Light blue metallic, iridescent blue metallic, iris blue metallic, sapphire blue metallic, prussian blue metallic, venice blue metallic, marine blue metallic, baltic blue metallic, cobalt blue metallic, midnight blue metallic, horizon blue metallic, maritime blue, minerva blue, arrow blue, glacier blue, dark blue, petrol blue, albert blue, diamond blue metallic, and slate blue metallic.

Unbelievable that our 928s came in so many variations of blue. But cool for us.

Don't forget to list the color and code with a pic.

Dave C's iris blue GTS, and a marine blue '87, and 2 pics of a local GTS non-sunroof in midnight blue.
