Velvet Red Metallic 81L. This special order color was available on the 928 from 1989-1990. According to the 928 Registry, only nine North American cars were delivered in this color - five S4's and four GT's (two '89s and two '90s).
Two of the four North American GT's are active here on Rennlist, Mike McLeod (mcholdfast) and myself.

Welcome Jed ... there are about 3 more of that colour down here in Tasmania.
Here's my 82 in Wine Red Metallic just after I got it. Total strip and rebuild, apart from paint, is under way but still to be finished.

Here's the only Raspberry Red 928 in the world ... it's in Porsche literature as a '93 special color. I've seen a few 968s and a couple of 911s in this color, but no other 928s. It changes with the light as you can see it these shots and looks almost cinnamon in low light.

Jarrod, Our cars are twins 
RHD 1990 GT, Velvet Red Metallic (81L). I've seen an S4 in the same colour, but to the best of my knowledge this is the only GT in the UK in this colour.
Exhaust is factory supplied Techquipment RMB, also very rare.
