Default 1989 porsche 928 - $2500 Mississippi

Maybe someone can pick up a hell of a deal!!!

I would do it, but shipping would kill me!

Somebody grab it up, it's gotta be worth 2500 bux.

I have no affiliation. I just thought I would pass it on to you guys!

Thanks for posting this. I've just emailed him for more info. Unless the car is a total POS, I would be willing to pay this price and have it shipped here.

Best of luck to you!

BTW, I'm pretty sure that you could have this car shipped to you for under $1k. I know a small vehicle shipping company based in Texas that offers pretty reasonable rates, if you are interested.

I know it sounds idiotic to most collectors, but I really dislike the look of the newer cars. The 84-86 Euro S is my favorite.

I know the bumpers could be changed and whatnot, but that's just an added expense.

I know I'm nuts aren't I? LOL

Yup I said it, I would prefer an 83 S US, over an S4. I prefer the S4 performance though...

Nope, you are not nuts. With a car like this, you should buy what you like rather than even thinking about converting. I prefer the more modern look because the car is such a sleeper. However, at some point i will find an OB to keep. It will either be a 86.5, a 78/79, or a Euro S.

I'm with you too Trip. I like the S models much more than the S4's. I'm very happy with my 85 S.

Price and restoration comment would make me question old flood damage. Be careful and get more pics.

I started off on the older (original) styling side. But I've grown fond of the S4+ styling and have equal respect fro both.

I've been watching this car for a while. Tried emailing them, no response. Would call except I've run out of minutes on my phone. Arghgh!

That engine bay looks scary. Whoever mentioned flood--I'd check on that. It's weird intake looks fresh--everything else looks major-league corroded. Nothing like Craigslist pix!

Fbarnhill has been looking for a replacement since his 88 caught fire a month ago. He has sent emails and has had no response yet. He has family in Mississippi and is headed down that way at the end of the month.
