Default Track Day Help!

Someone recently posted a pic of a 928 pulling a trailer with tires and tool box.

Sorry, but I can't find it. It is classic and I didn't save it.

Can anyone point me to it.

Thanks,

Denny

Got it! Thank you very much! That is a classic! Should have more tires though.

Here is one of my former track car at the start of a track day.

This was the same car that was featured in Excellence magazine in the Feb. 2005 edition with another shot of the trailer car combo in the article.

Cheers,

that trailer is a prototype unit . It has a removable tounge /tire clamp down system / a 4 foot locking alum box ect . i think the whole thing including the box weighed 165 # . only built 1 never bothered to market them . I did make all the parts for a second one using 928 spindles and hubs to make a axle so I could use some 16 inch tires / rims , the ones in the picture . Terry

the 928 is rated to tow 1500lbs without brakes or 3500lbs with trailer brakes!!!! Since I spend a fair amount of time at the track I see quite a few "trailer" rigs for track cars...pretty much only miata's or corvettes..... occasionally you will see a roof rack like George used to use..... One advantage of a gutted "race" 928 is all the room it frees up....you can really cram a bunch of stuff in there!!
