Default Any new info on the Holbert car

I have not seen anything posted in a while. Does anyone know what is going on with the Holbert car. Also who has the vin # for that car. I am trying to figure out how close mine was in the assembly line with it since I have almost the exact same car.

Someone did PM me the vin. Thank you. The vin ends in 062, so if Porsche kept the first 60 vins for prototypes that would make the Holbert car the 2nd car made. Is that right?

The Holbert car was made on an 86 chassis well before production started for the S-4 and was hand built.....for real. Vin number was probably assigned long after it was built. It had a number of none production items including weird cloth seats. Was fitted with "cheater" camshafts, Brain had external port for quick chip changes....The car set a record but it was NOT a stock S-4

makes me sick to see it like that! I hope it can be revived.

Yes we should start thinking of a plaque or sticker so that all the names can get on the hood, doors, rear quarters, etc, somewhere!

Its stablized, and the new racing season is upon us, so its a good time to talk about getting the name on the car!

Thanks

Mark
