Cookr14 - Bit of a drive for you. There is a local group in the Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Garner area that gets together every Saturday morning for coffee at the WakeZone in Apex.

We have yet to schedule our true "NC Get Together" for 2013. I'd say somewhere central would be ideal...

There is always the NCCAR facility as a central location with the added benefit of having a track too. There was a thread going awhile back about doing something there. Seems one of their board members has a 928 iirc.... They seemed pretty open to working with us on hosting an event there.

The 5th is First Saturday, similar to cars and coffee, at Waverly Place in Cary. People start arriving by 8 and the lot fills up quickly. There usually all kinds of cars from exotics to street rods. The PCA Hurricane Region usually has a whole bunch of guys and cars there.

Who's planning to head over to Apex in the morning? Weather does not look great for the a.m. I'm wondering if i should venture out...I discovered a bare and corroded wire in my 14-pin connector recently and probably should keep driving in rainy weather to a minimum until issue is resolved.
