PARTS REQUEST needed for my son's car..
REVISED 6-24-11 Cridical items are BOLD. Others could be added after car is back running.
I am reassembling Marvin ( 1980 US model ) and have several small trim parts either broken or missing. I have a few parts from my 89 S4 I could trade. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not asking for FREE PARTS. I have revised the list as follows as of 5-28-11.
Tail light lens right side.................................................................... ..Broken
Tail light lens left side.................................................................... ....Broken
Seals for both tail light lens to housing................................................Missing
2 front bumper caps.................................................................... .......Missing
Hood release handle inside................................................................Br oken
Seatbelt bezel at rear quarters (qty one smiley face).................................Broken
Gas door sticker................................................................R emoved for paint
Paper(?) washers for fender to body ( aluminum to galv ).....................Missing
Rotary **** #1 page 248 PET (one) stripped out .................................Bad
If anyone can help out with one of these I would be indebted.
I have a new set of MM from Roger I never installed. Set of PORSCHE letters decals ( gray/silver) never used.
I hate to ask but these small trim pieces will add up and as most know I am out of work right now. I would not ask if it were for me...this is my son's car.I can pay a reasonable cost for these parts thru PayPal...I also have vintage tube audio I can trade for large part orders as well. PM me if any of this sounds interesting.

Dean, I'll keep an eye out for some stuff, right off hand I don't "think" I've got any of it around.

The front right side marker is red? I thought it was yellow?

I think I may have a pass side. I will check when I get home. Alot of yellow fronts, not many rear reds.

I remember years ago reading something about VW dome lights in 928s. I'm going from memory and haven't done a search but, I think they were Golf/Jetta MK4 ('99-up, A4 chasis) interrior lights that were a perfect, or a very close, fit into the 928.
My DD is a '00 Jetta and those lights are very nice looking, but I never tried it to fit in into a 928.
