Part number is on the side of the injector - I need that to discuss with the supplier.
Another set will be shipped tomorrow but my claim with the supplier rests on the part number incorrectly supplied. All you have to do is look at the side of the injector.
I will suport you 100% all I ask for is the number on the injector. I have a responsibility to the community to not allow this to happen again.
I need to know if they are design II or design III.

As I told you in my email the current supplier does not see it the way we do and considers the installation safe and refuses to replace the injectors as "there is nothing wrong with them". He also considers the addition of the clip on a bolted down fuel rail to be over kill. Suffice to say we have agreed to disagree and parted company.
I am looking for another supplier for the correct 24 Lb injectors and that may take a little while. Also happy to refund the price of the injectors if you can find some your self.

I cannot help but feel that the perception that the "main stay" holding the system together are the bolts holding the rail to the plenum may be somewhat misplaced, irrespective of what other designs do or do not do.
Fully agree with Roger not to use these injectors under any circumstances. I have one of the nuts holding the rail ommitted [could not mount it under plenum spacer I fitted] on my system. Not totally happy about this but not unduly uncomfortable either [might be a different story if something lets go].
As an engineer, I am not entirely happy with the concept of using a single o ring to seal the fuel in there with no back up system but clearly it seems to work OK. Systems with a need for high integrity clearly need to be bullet proof as it were- thus presumably the Porsche thinking of more redundancy in this critical system.

Mike, a dremmel type tool with a small cutting disk. Canadian Tire sells the Jobmate brand at a very good price. If you are not planning unisng it all the time, the Jobmate brand will be perfect. I bought mine at Princess Auto. You are wellcome to borow it or we can even do it at my house but the cost of fuel might be more than the tool.
