I actually won a race once. On fire. Had a oil line burst under the car and right on the manifold. Passed the finish line with massive flames under the car, and me jumping PRETTY quick out of the car

Drove past a 993 yesterday afternoon that has caught fire in the engine compartment around 8:30am, whilst parked on the street and set the tree alight that it was parked under.
When I drove past the car was parked in the front yard of the house with the guy was inspecting the the rear of the car. The car was a black one and it now has a very charred engine cowling and I guess is now a total constructive loss.

I mickey mouse rigged the injector duration sensor, right with a wire tap at the injector. it shorted the injector, and i ended up with the injector full on. I had flames out the back of my 928 20ft and cornerworkers yelling, "you are on fire" pull over .so I did. right at turn 11 at sears. most all the flame was gas out the tail pipe and no real damage to the car at all. pulled the rigged wires out of the injector, started it up and all was fine. the ony regret , was no pictures!!
