No, won't make the ride any harsher, but it will tighten up the compliance a little on the swaybar when you throw it into the turns. To make sure it does not squeak, coat the bushings (bar side and clamp side) with copper anti-seize before installing. Webster and Blandis showed me this trick a couple years ago and I've had NO sqeaking whatsoever on the bushings.

Okay, so where can I get poly bushings and clamps to fit the Devek bar? I've already ordered a stock replacement clamp from 928 INTL, it was only $36.

I think you can get poly bushings at autozone, pep boys, O'riley's etc. Pretty sure they come w the clamps. Not sure what size that bar is? 22mm?

As for the bolts. Remove mate other side and match them up at the Hardware store. Home depot might not have it, but Elliot's Hardware pretty much has every metric bolt I've ever tried to match up. Depending on which side backed out, (was it the pass side? too ADD to read the above posts) on the GT I know that at least one of the clamp bolts is a little longer than the rest. Grade 8.8 I believe.

Thought I would post the results...

Sway bar bushing clamp is the same on all 928 year models and works on Devek front bar as well.

Stiffening the front bar did help balance the car under transition on high speed ie., 3rd gear esses. Was having to lift then get back in throttle to keep the rear in check. With a bit more front bar the car just drifts out a bit under full throttle where the rear was trying to come around before. Will have to play more with the feel of the car to see how the adjustment effects the overall balance. On these cars changing the sway bar seems to also effect how the ride height and balance settles in over time.
