Default 1979 928 gearbox conversion

I own a 1979 automatic transmission left hand drive model, I have stripped the interior to lighten the car and fitting a roll bar as I plan to race her around our local track, where would I obtain pricing and detailed information for a new or used 5 speed gear box assembly, I am located in south africa, cape town, I am in love with the car and want to get her driving shortly.

If the rules allow it run it as an automatic because the parts needed for a conversion are many and very expensive. Finding a good used early gearbox that will allow downshifts into second is very unlikely, later borg warner syncro boxes are rare and much sought after. You need the bell housing , short shaft, torque tube, flywheel , clutch assembly ,slave cylinder, master cylinder, shifter, linkage, couplers, pedal assembly, blue hose, metal clutch lines, rear suspension cross member (depending on the box) on and on and on.......

It is going to be very expensive to do that conversion.
