^ If you see a linen metallic 944 driving up on 15, make sure to wave

Hoping it doesn't rain as much as they're predicting...she doesn't like the rain so much

The 928 is still a basket case in the garage, and the 944 is too small for the crew. I'll be the guy in the lapis-blue Cayenne with the 'Field Artillery' plate.

Don, I hope you didn't take my flipflop comment seriously...
.. you have every right to make changes in your plans - particularly when they involve a wild card such as the weather in Hershey. Sharing your plans with us is simply a courtesy.
I've been known to wear a pair of these on many occasions - particularly when it comes to Hershey, Fun Runs, Summit Point and even Frenzy.
I'm glad that you'll be making it afterall. Haven't seen you since Frenzy.

I just wanted to follow up on this thread and let everyone how much I enjoyed my first Hershey Swap Meet and send a shout out to the great guys I met there!

I'm sorry if I missed anyone. These guys were great to talk to at the meet and at Red Robin after wards about our 928 passion and "on-line life" in general. LOL. Wish I could have stayed longer.
Fraggle (very sorry I forgot your real name)

Wayne (the A-hole!)

The other Wayne

Enjoyed talking to and looking at Don T's SC S4. Sweet sounding and looking car Don!

Met a few other 928's that are not RL's. That was really cool.

Also, getting together with my friend (and PO of my 85) Steve G again, finally checking out his beautiful GTS and just walkin' and talking Porsches all day was AWESOME. Thanks Steve for coming out.

The day wasn't that pretty but hardly any rain. It did get real nice and sunny about 3pm though. Go figure!. There were a bunch of 928's though. I think at least 10. Here's a couple shots. I wish I would have taken more pictures!

Hope to see you guys again next year. Or maybe at the Frenzy?

Nice pics Rick - thanks for posting. Would love to see more.
Also, was Ernest there with his s4? He always took alot of pictures, but haven't seen him around these forums for quite some time.

Rick: Glad the trip was worth it for you; I'm still lusting after the Cayman with the chocolate brown interior, but they have no room; I'm thinking on a trip (like 4 hours to Hershey!) the cockpit would get a little cramped.

Glad to meet up with everyone.

Now I have to search here and see if I can get the new A/C control head I scored for $25 on the way out of the meet to work; seller said it doesn't activate the compressor. The wiring diagrams are greek to me; I can't find a line to the compressor, but I've just started.

I was there, and I also ran into Don T and his ride. Only me second year going and I didn't realize there was a Rennlist parking area or I'd have parked my Cayenne there. Lots of beautiful cars, including a Boxster Speedster in the concours.

And I have to say that while I appreciate the concours-ready cars and beautiful restorations, there's a lot to be said for a car that is obviously well-used and well-loved. I baby my 944, but my 928 is pretty rough and I might just leave it that way when I do get it back on the road.

Here's a shot of Don's car on the way in, after I spotted the cool plate:

I'll post a little more pics that I took. Not much more 928's though. No Ernest, but we discuss his picture taking at RR.

Oh, that Cayman was really nice. I'll be dreaming about that one for awhile, no doubt. I didn't get a picture of it. A picture wouldn't have done it justice anyways.

Shawn, sorry I didn't get to meet up with you. I kept looking for the Cayenne with plate you mentioned in an earlier post.

To keep this 928 related here's a non-RL's car that I met there. Bob's 83, I think.

Some random P-cars.

There's Steve and Ken (928oc member) drooling on that Cayman in the background.
