I wouldn't trust weather forecasts for anything longer then 24 hours ahead (and even then, they can get it wrong too). But yea, that would suck... Still planning to come, but if it does rain, I might leave 928 home...

with the liklihood of a great turnout of SHARKS and some other P cars

Rick, you're absolutely right about forecasters' accuracy, but I'd take the job. Where else can you get paid a couple hundred k to be right only 1/2 the time? Cows have a better sense of future weather trends than some meteorologists.
But regardless of weather, my chances of making it this year are looking good. Finally.
I'll be in my D/D this time, since the GT is making a very subtle but unsettling sound when hot - like a tensioner roller bearing (?).
Kevin, are you still thinking of making the trek?
