I will probably go with these (maybe): http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/blue-...011-0280150947

The difference is that lab measurements (and virtually all of the specs and charts) are based on static flow-- turn on the faucet, measure how long it takes to fill a bucket.
In an engine the injectors are pulsed, and each time the injector is pulsed nothing happens for the first millisecond or so-- that's the latency, also called opening-time, dead-time, or sometimes offset. The total pulse at idle or cruising is only about 2 ms, so it can be a big effect. Change to a different injector with different opening-time and you get a different amount of fuel.

And do what Roger says, Five-O are good folks but 928srus are great folks and Roger understands what 928's need.

If you are in doubt, send the injectors in after purchase and I will log and make the initial S4.S300s adjustment(s) for you, if needed.
(Injectors must be new or freshly rebuilt and must include a set of lower S4 o-rings - Roger/928sRUs stocks them.)
Just please don't settle for stock or warmed-over 'tuning' based on stock programming...when you could have so much more.

Do I have it correct that, on the S3, the o-ring diameters are 14mm top and 16.5 diameter lower?

If anyone is interested in injector roullette-
My Ford 24lb blue tops, out of decently running car but should be checked/flow matched:
$__ plus shipping CONUS Actually lets just say SOLD shipped, CONUS.
A bag of 18 of the larger o-rings from FiveO.....SOLD shipped CONUS.

I found this page which gives detail on the new ford injector
Is that connector style wrong?

Yes, it's not the same as the Bosch connector used on the 928. You may be able to buy adaptor leads...

Injectors
Invader from the planet BMW here !
I just wanted to say a big "Thank you" to you all - This is a brilliant thread, and gave me the inspiration to test modern injectors in my E30 320is.
As you have discovered, quoted specifications for any given injector vary wildly depending on which website you look at - Hence the reason for my chipping in.
In the course of my research, I stumbled across THIS website, and THIS excellent spreadsheet, which is an absolute mine of Bosch Injector Data.
The flow data on this spreadsheet can be checked against those on the Bosch Automotive online catalogue, and all the ones I did check matched perfectly. Flows are in grams per minute (g/min), and the spreadsheet includes all relevant data including design operating pressures, flow @ operating pressure, flow @ 3bar (datum), latency times, spray cone angles, bifurcation, connector type etc etc.. and is very comprehensive. The part numbers covered are 150 , 155 & 156 series, but nothing later.
Also, a big "Thank you" to US Rally team for taking the time to compile such a huge amount of data.
For further reading, see HERE.
I hope you find the information of use.
All the best,
Dave.

time to bump this thread?
are the latest Ford Gen lll offerings true plug and play, or still need modifications?
what are the current preferred injectors; or is cleaning and flow matching the way to go?
