I just cloned my 928. Did I make a big mistake?

Hello I am fraggle. It's been almost a week since I spent some dollars on 928 related items. If I'm lucky something else may come up I can get without the premium of a new set of living room furniture.

Ah...."Did I make a big mistake?" probably, 928s are not assets they are liabilities.....and asking these guys is like going into a bar and asking all the drunks if you should have another drink. At times I swear they have NEVER seen a 928 that they did not LIKE !

Hahha they've never seen a 928 they don't like, you need to check the forsale humor thread.
I just checked out the "steeting wheel" thread and may have found my next purchase... If I can get red or black stitching.

They usually just pick on the people who are asking top dollar for a average car, but get all sentimental about "saving" some pretty worn units..... It is the "Pretty Woman syndrome" and they expect to end up with Julia Roberts instead of Julia Child

Jim,
That hurts man... Don't be like that... I like to think I have taken some Julia Child's all the way to Julia Roberts over the last 10 or 12 years! Look at Mark's poor old race car...she looks pretty good now days! My '81, it was SO SAD when I got it...has damn near won a few local concourse events (but for my other car/s beating it out! LOL!) and now EURO85 was pretty sad but now looks like a QUEEN! Get pulled over in that hottie every time I take her out!

No mistake....
My view on this is:
Picking up a twin car is a natural progression for 928 owners. Let's be clear, everyone who i come into contact within this community is in some stage related to buying a second 928. Many already own more than one...
Finding garage space, cash and a reasonable agreement from one's spouse is what stops most from doing what you're doing--- congrats for having enough space, cash and/or coy ones to do what the rest of us want to do...
I am closely monitoring craigslist for a blue 79-84 928...so I can walk into my new garage and see two 928's...

Got a really nice '84 that I would part with but it will be WELL above the price of most anything that age you are likely to find on CL... Rudy Red with (soon to be) all black interior. Needs only an alignment, cruise repair, dash is not great looking (cracks) and I think that is it and the thing is like 100%. Fix the dash and go win a concours event with this car!
