Default Early Withdrawal?

Pulled it out this afternoon for a trip to Yoakum. Given that it's been almost 4 months since I drove her I guess I can't be accused of the above.

Beautiful weather, car performed as always and.... high school a$$hats had to challenge me for a race.

If these ba$tards knew how to drive I might play along. I've learned the hard way to hit the signal, get on the shoulder and let the children out of my way.

The last time one of these kids messed with me I was in my truck. Dunno how, but my brakes locked up on 359 and the little $hit ate my bumper.

What was the line from "Fried Green Tomatos"? "Face it girls, I'm older and I've got better insurance". Best wreck I've ever had.

Intentionally caused a collision?

Correct me if I'm wrong Sandy, but if I kill all the golfers they'll lock me up and throw away the key.

The kid was f'n with me for miles and tried to run me off the road when I finally got a chance to slip past him. No, it wasn't an intentional collision but I am delighted my brakes chose that moment(s) to lock up. They had to lock up twice to achieve the desired result. Like I said "Face it girls, I'm older and I've got better insurance".

Gawd, I can't wait to see the designer sunglasses with bifocals in my prescription. That would scare the **** out of anyone!

Randy, I spent a week in Yoakum back in 1970 when I was a rep for a Tandy leathergoods firm. Never forgot that experience! The best restaurant in town was the meat market.....literally, and everyone wore bib coveralls and straw hats. Do they still have the 2 foot high sidewalks with hitches for the horses? Back then they didn't like "Furrin" cars so I think your GTS would have been in danger there. I've wondered that that town for years........... but never enough to go back to find out.

You must have been visiting their saddle shops; they have some good ones. The hitching posts are all gone but you can still find some 2' tall curbs. People are very freindly and laid back like most small towns in Texas. I am lucky that most of my travels take me to towns rather than large cities.

The GTS was quite safe. I was there during the lunch hour and all the high school kids were agog. Several of them stopped to take pictures with their cell phones while I was in the restaurant. Obviously the kids have excellent taste in Yoakum Texas.

They probably just taste like chicken, like everything else does.
