There were 9 or 10 made, last 2 with S engine and drivetrain.

There's a guy in New Zealand who races a Holden HQ with an S4 motor in it.

Pic below is his engine bay - taken by Smiffy (smiffypr on rennlist).

I always thought it would be cool to see a blown 32V 5.0 in a '32 Highboy.

awesome folks, keep them coming. And Nicole, you continue to amaze with your depth of knowledge on these cars. You are the official RL historian for the Shark!
Can someone photoshop an engine in a Mustang (modern version stang)?

I know Jim. Unbelievable. But man, that shark engine sure looks good no matter what the outer skin!

There is a picture here floating around of a SBC with S4 heads and a cusotm timing belt. I'm too lazy too look for it, maybe someone else can post it. And then there is the tube frame 944 that was shelved, with an S4 engine too.

That much weight in the front of a TR-6 would really screw up the already rather poor handling.....plus the width of the 928 engine means it would take a huge pile of cash for such a project. But I guess it need not make any sense.....

There was the factory developped 928 turbo engine for a boat, did not remember but I Can find back the article.

There is here in France a project of mounted a 32V engine on a motorbike. A friend of mine sold him an S4 engine for that project. I did not heard anything about it since. I can try to find.

James You are right as usual. It was more of a fantasy idea. I spent the better part of 76 to early 80's in one in my youth so the car has a special place in my heart. The car was my bestfriends and I drove it all the time. When we drove the car home we would have to take it up a very steep hill. The exhaust got louder but the car wouldn't go any faster!

Still on a beautful day in Southern CT with the top down cruising around some of the prettiest roads I have ever seen was a very special time.

The sound of a 16v 928 engine and the power would have been awesome. If it had it though we probably would have killed ourselves.
