If it's a salvage title..and looks fairly worn even in the older pics.. I'd say..best bet is to flip to someone who wants to invest the time (and lots o moola) into it...just to have a "GT".. best swag on price..I'd say around 10..

Why do you say it needs lots of $$ invested?
Cause it needs repairs or cause GT's have issues?
It says in the old ebay add it has been serviced and has 20K in reciepts.......

repairs mostly (have not seen the accident damage).and even if it has up to date service at the time of the ebay ad (03..)...it's due for full tbelt/waterpump, probably a PSD flush..., likely intake service (gaskets flappy valve etc)...anyway..

If you are keeping it for yourself..then as a dismantler, you have access to cheap/free body parts...but the service is going to cost you.. unless you do it yourself..then again..you can save..

You should have kept that 89 then... It's the lightest/most powerful of the 928 GT's

Well why didn't you say so when they inquired about the VIN check....
I'm glad you are saving the car, I rather see it on the road with an owner that is taking care of it. I wouldn't care about the salvage title either. Sounds like the damage is not serious. I hope this turns out as a great 928 ownership experience for you.
