I know what you mean. I would still have my 80 Euro if it hadn't been totaled in a wreck some time ago. T

Not much to say about it really. It just didn't pan out. Nothing was wrong with how the car was portrayed, but the car was NOT right. No fault of the seller however, he just didn't know what the issues were.

I'll still be dealing with him on some other stuff though. I'm not one to hold a grudge or suddenly grow a vagina and have hurty feelers all the damn time.

FYI, I was getting like 22-23mpg the entire way home. Credit goes to Ken (porKen) and his chips. This thing is a beast!

Tony, I would still have my old '85 if it had not been totaled in an accident as well. I have missed that car for a good six years now! I went through a SUPER nice Pontiac TA (LS1), and most recently my Corvette FRC. But they still didn't fulfill like this 928 has done in a VERY short time.

There really isn't another car like these. Well, not for this outlay anyhow!

Haha. Actually it was the condom that exploded... because in my haste I was trying to roll it on the wrong way! Luckily, I had a spare

Jon your car looks great! I agree about a survivor having a few battle scars. It adds patina.

thats whats nice about having a DD,
a chip or blemish isnt a catastrophic event
I have a show car thats pretty hard to enjoy without worry of a flying stone or door ding.
Jon glad your bonding with your new machine, I hope it carries you for many miles without worry!

Tony your Ole 80 looks cool, too bad it got crunched.

Eric you bring up a good point at SATL 06 I saw a early car that was pretty trashed on the outside but boy did it run, it was fast and had a certain air of awesome that the much nicer looking cars didnt have, yes it was a survivor, with new life breathed into it under hood where it counted

Thanks Stan!

Everyone is digging the car at work! Some guy asked me the first day I drove it if it was the car from Scarface. It's older than most of the guys in my Company! I love that! They always ask if it's fast, to which I reply, "It's fast enough!".

Congratulations. I was lucky enough to meet Stan when he got that car on the road. No rub strips, no sunroof, touched by a 928 God. Drive it in good health.

And Michael was kind enough to give and afternoon of his time to assist in installing the new engine harness in LA CA so the car would run,
after putting on the harness and connecting it up to the computers one turn of the key and she fired right up.
Varoom Bwaa!

Jon remember dont race that trans,
it will last a very long time if you shift it slowly!
