You can rule out 1-4 using your pressure gauge and looking at system pressure. I do recommend looking at control pressure as it is pretty key. It is kind of like compression numbers in that is a really good idea to know where you are before you go too much further. You don't really need a valve in your setup to look at control pressure, you just need fitting of some sort to tap in between the WUR outlet and the tube back into the fuel distributor and a Tee fitting of some sort. If I didn't have access to a gauge set from Roger, I would go to a junk yard, buy the tube that goes from the WUR back to the FD off some old Volvo or VW, cut it in half and splice in a Tee with some rubber fuel injection lines.

Filled it up, and it started right away Drove the first trip in a long time(probably in two months) now, and the engine runs GREAT. Feels like the last 40hp suddenly came back in the engine. But it still smokes, on idle and when i'm rolling(i.e. not accelerating) it has only a light blue-ish smoke. On heavy accelration the smoke turns thick, and probably blue-brown. I'm giving up on my el-cheapo gauge, and I'll try to find a gauge set somewhere local.
