Was the install pretty straightforward? How about first time start and the map Electromotive provides just to get the motor to run? Was baseline pretty close to it?

This is a new project.
I removed the engine for a intake and head gasket refresh and removed the LH & EZK and harness.

So far the new ECM is mounted and the harness is done to the firewall.
When the engine goes in I will complete the harness.
Then I can let everyone know if it starts.

Yes, so far Carls instructions make sense and it was easy to group the wire pairs.
The electromotive CD that comes with it is very technical, Carls manual is easier to follow.

When I get make to that part of the repair/install, ILL document it as step by step as I can.

A search brings up some good threads on what others have found, mostly 944 threads
