Default 8" H4 Headlights

Nothing is ever easy, went to install the 8" H4 headlights that I gave myself for Christmass and it is a no go. Thought it would be a quick job. But my 80 Euro origionally had head light adjusters that were rendered inoperative when it was federalized. Tried to render them operative but they are a lost cause for now. With no fixed point mounted solidly to adjust against the headlight will no hold a adjustment, so I am dead in the water for now. Especially since my garage is a balmy 18 degrees. So I purchased the correct used US specific parts for the mounting 8" H5. When they get here it will be a disassemble/assemble exercise I hope. For now my car is back under the cover with two holes where it used to have eyes.

Lucky for me I am still 4 months away from driving the 928 and it can sit sans eyes.

The USA fixed ball mounts will go in in 2 seconds each - push - turn - click - thats it.

Same with removal of the old hydraulic units - easy!

The newer electric adjusters require significantly awkward yoke dissassembly....
