Default 87 928 S4 5spd Blk/Blk 71k F/S

Hi guys relatively new here...but not new to porsches. I am considering selling my loved S4 (business needs). I am basically looking into what I should be asking....its well documented but not complete...timing belt,H2O pump etc etc done.....original paint never hit but beginning to show its age (5 footer)..needs a few things : high pressure p/s hose has a leak, temp gauge has a bad ground and works when it wants. Has some upgrades as well: S/S RMB, Cup Wheels, Momo Wheel, Short Shift Kit, Stupid Stereo w/ ipod etc, Billstien adj all around, Big Reds w/drilled rotors. I know I am leaving way too much stuff out...but I just wanted to put a feeler out there....any thoughts on a range??

Fix the power steering hose before we find it at auction from burning up. Good looking car, but that is kind of important.

Well you have to be a member to sell it here. As an added bonus, the classified ads are free for members.

The market sucks right now. Both in general and for this time of year.

I've seen a few cars (not 5 speed) dumped at $7500 (bargain that had to be gone) and some go for 15-20K.

When was TB/WP and motor mounts done--and by who?

Also, as Sean said--fix the PS.

^^^^ what he said, and how many miles does it have?
that's a big deciding factor too when it come to pricing one of these other than how much of the deferred maintenance has been complete.

Sorry guys I didn't realize I needed to be a member ....it has just under 71k for miles...the pump and water pump were done in 09 less than 7k ago...I think, don't exactly have all my docs in front of me....the mounts have not been done by me..I would have to look through my docs to see if prior replacements was done...I will say they do not make any noise or lifting etc....I have had extensive work done in the summer of 09...by a porsche specialty shop just outside of boston....in fairness I would rather not mention there name here in print...will gladly disclose info over the phone or privately (lets just say I have mixed feelings about how it all went down...sooo I would rather say nothing positive or negative about them)

If its a decently maintained car and the mileage is true, your looking at around $12000-$15000, depending on how good the interior and exterior is. If its an exceptional car mechanically and cosmetically the price goes up closer to $20,000 for a 5 speed with that mileage.

Welcome aboard and good luck with the sale (GLWS!)

$14K is a very fair price for mileage and upgrades as long as the p/s hose is fixed.

If you are not in a rush you'll get the money. If you are, you'll get $10 realistically. I'd rather see you get all the money and more.
