Default Looking for Good Home (1980 928)

It's time to clear this car out of the garage. I'm basically giving it away to the Rennlist 928 team first. 1980 5-speed 928 that has about 46,000 original miles on it. The owner is 80 and simply isn't driving it anymore. (He also has a 356C). I put it up here once before but there wasn't any interest. Ed is a retired Economist--and very **** about documentation. He wrote down every time he put fuel in it, oil in it, and even sorted out his annual cost per mile including registration, insurance, maintenance, -- everything! All the paperwork is included for review. As a multimillionaire, he did whatever it needed when it needed it.

Here's a sample of some shots of it. Can post many more. This is a steal at $6500, firm. The car is in Santa Barbara.

Dan, good luck with the sale! Nice looking car, I especially like the interior! Not a huge fan of the AIR kit, but this one sure looks PRO done! This car will make someone VERY happy I think!

Default Thought about it... but Dwayne is the man for this one.

He would be the guy for this car and be able to keep it in the shape it appears to be in.

In his backyard already... Dwayne wake up!

I don't think I've ever seen this steering wheel before, but I really like it. What brand is it?

It would appear that the car is sold. This shark is heading to Michigan. Thanks for looking.

Can you still tell who made this steering wheel?

Nicole--there is a small "Fittipaldi" nameplate on the wheel.

Here's a shot of Ed with his two Porsches. He turned 80 last October and realized that it's time to part. The 928 is going to Michgan. The '64 356C will stick around for awhile. It's a one-owner Santa Barbara car that he bought in late 1964. It's been fun baby-sitting his two cars for awhile.

Thanks, Dan! This is definitely the nicest non-Porsche aftermarket steering wheel I have seen for the 928.
