Have wandered here from the 930 page - looking for a blaupunkt toronto radio - was this ever fitted in the 928? anyone got one lying around for sale?

I think I still have mine in the garage. Display no longer works; no parts available in the US. Blaupunkt wanted me to send it to Germany, before they would tell me whether they could fix it.

Is that the CD2 radio?

Mine also does not work...well, that is not completely true... It always wants a CD in it (but it won't play the CD) just to play the radio, but it does not want the CD ALL THE WAY IN... SO, when it ejects the CD you hold it about half way in till it stops trying to spit it out and then you can listen to the radio... LOL!

Was also told there are no parts to fix it and thus I replaced it with a CDR220. Interestingly when we took the CD2 out there was a sticker on the top of it stating that it was a reconditioned unit! So this (while factory installed in my car) had been replaced at least once in the 8 years the original owner had the car! CRAZY!
