Hello all,
Can't seem to find anything relating to this with the search function so here goes..
The blue trimmed wheel rim (along with the key area of the pod and the gear selector) are looking a bit tired in my 96 GTS (the black underneath is starting to show through) and I was planning on getting them painted/recoloured to bring them back, however the colour isn't the only thing that has worn away, the little horn stickers have all but disappeared.
Is there anywhere I can get these horn stickers? Not sure if the exact size and style are unique to the 928, either way can they actually be found anywhere?
Thanks guys

No, you can't do these symbols as overlays. The overlays work well in the console switches, as their edges align with the indentations on the switches. But on the airbag steering wheel, the symbols are just printed on a convex, textured surface.

Since these horn buttons were used on most (if not all) Porsches from '91-95 or later, there should be a PET number for them and they probably can be ordered through Roger at 928's R Us (no affiliation, except being a good customer)

That sounds like a good idea, also a happy customer of Roger's so I'll give him a go!
Hopefully they'll have an individual number rather than having to buy a whole new wheel!

1993 928 PET illustration 403-06 lists a left horn button in black as 944 347 835 00 01C, and 944 347 836 00 01C for the right. There are a whole bunch of other suffixes for other colors, cobalt is -9WW, midnight is -2GS. Total longshot as to whether they'd still have the colored ones....
