Thanks I appreciate it. Actually the PSD had just been serviced by the PO along with a whole lot of other things. I do currently live in Edmond. My job brought me to OK and I have been here about 6 years now.
The Euro I was trying to get my hands on is silver/blk. I will continue to try and get it but when I told him what they have been going for recently I no longer got any responses. Probably would rather keep it than sell it for less than it is worth to him and I don't blame him one bit!

OK, then there's at least two Euro's running around OKC. After thinking about it further, the one I know of is either an '80 or an '81. As far as I know, it's still in town although I haven't spoken to the owner in years. He was a dentist in private practice at the time, although I believe he's now a Professor at OU's College of Dentistry. His car was unmolested and in concours condition. I bet he still has it, as he told me back in the day he'd never sell it.
I've also recently spoken with the owner of another black/black 90GT over in Springdale, AR. Very nice car with about 15K more miles than yours.
I'm glad to see more 928's surfacing in the area. Perhaps we could start having some get-togethers and fun runs similar to what DFW and the Austin groups are doing. OKC is just a short run down the turnpike for me, and I'd love to see your car as well as RKD's again.
Anyway, take care!

The other item that I'm still on the fence about is to change the seats and carpet over to cashmere? I do like the black interior and it is in excellent shape, but man I sure like the looks of the cashmere on a black car. Paul Champagne's seats are hard to resist. If I change out to cashmere, I will have Paul do some donor seats. If I stay black, I will have Paul set me up with the sport upgrade and perhaps the Pascha inserts. Just can't quite make up my mind yet.
OTOH, I agree that Paul Champagne's work is tempting - particularly his Pascha leather inserts. I dream about those, too!

I do lunch every Tuesday at 11am somewhere in Edmond. Typically Jason's Deli on 33rd or Chillenos on Boulevard.
Otherwise, the local PCA has breakfast at La Baguette on N May Saturday, February 5th. Were you the one that showed up at the last one in a 928 I heard about? I was sick as a dog that Saturday one of the few PCA events I didn't make.
You should be happy to learn both Dumont's Porsche Only Service, and Bob Moore Porsche (the Dealership) both have very good 928 experienced mechanics. And despite what they say, Dumont's doesn't really charge more if you take it apart and have them put it back together properly

Thanks for the warm welcome! I definitely will be getting plenty of use out of it. She is mechanically sound but I will continue to tinker with it. Did just install a CDR220 in it and it works great. I just need to get the faceplate modified so that I can read it.
