Default mess with fuel filter

I have ordered a filter from pelican (among other things) and I think I ordered the wrong fuel filter.

My car is a 1980 928, 4474cc, 5 Sp, manual. (sold in Europe).

I ordered part: 928-110-253-06 (a KL-21 mahle fuel filter)

Now I think I should have ordered: 928-110-147-05 (mahle).

The error comes beacuse I saw a tune-up kit they sell at pelican for 928 (1980-84) which includes this filter. Now I see at 928specialists a page that marks this filter for "US 80-95" so I thought I must have made a mistake not differencing US vs europe /years, etc...

...should I use the part ordered (already on the way) as a paperweight?. Thanks.

Of course, If it is not the right one I'll try to sell it to someone here in Spain (because of shipping costs).

By the way... my confusion keeps growing, now I see at 928intl the part marked as:

928 110 147 05 Fuel filter 78-79 KL-22.

Let's see if someone can tell me which is the right fuel filter for my 1980-928 K-Jetronic. Thanks.
