Can anyone tell me where to get DE in Minnesota?
I had a very good friend that passed away last June.
I new him since he was born.
He died at 48 from a massive stroke.
He was a major gear head.
He had a '69 Mustang GT with 4 speed manual. He put a highly modded 428 Police Interceptor into it but did very little (if anything) to the suspension.
THAT CAR IS A BEAST!
Now, his 18 year old son wants that car. I have no problem with that but am worried he will kill: himself, his passengers and possibly others.
IMHO this kid is not ready for this car!
So, where in MN can he learn "respect" for a ""muscle car" such as that?
Thanks for any and all responses on a "non 928" topic.

Contact your local PCA (Porsche Club of America) for their next series of DE's. You do not typically have to be a member to participate. Usually costs $10.00 more for non members and sometimes you have to wait for an opening (after members sign up). Also SCCA may have a local chapter.

Brainerd about 3.5 hours north
Road America 6.5 hours east
Neither are the best for a beginner, especially in a high HP car.
Black Hawk Farms, IL about 6.5 hours south east
Autobahn Country Club - 8 hours south east
As others have said, look up NASA, SCCA, Shelby Club, Mustang Club etc.... Maybe an autocross would be a better place to start.
