My daughter was 5 last year and hgas been talking about it all year! She can't wait for this one! Though I think I'll fix the real AC, the icebox solution just didn't work as well as I liked.

Murray, It is an excellent time. Here is the advice I would give anyone going for the first time. It is a great idea to bring beer. However, and please take this part to heart, make sure whatever beer you buy has some sort of cardboard seperation between the bottles. I'm serious.

Greg, you remember the twisties from Alcoa to SITM of course. Try them with 12 Sam Adams bouncing together inside the car. Torture. I know Kurt from Indy can attest to this.

I stuffed some towels and rags to get them to stop rattling one year and have always thought about this in later years. No beer was lost, just an annoyance.

First trip check list... Beer, sunscreen, jacket (warm clothes), bottle opener, camera, cooler, folding chair, travel coffee mug (free coffee in lobby), towel and min cleaning supplies (hose provided, buckets abound), Tylenol, flash light, and soap on a rope.

Strange how different things can bother different folks, I do not remember it being a issue, and I had a weekends worth of beer in my car.

I do remember this though.

Probably enzo-ing myself, but on the way up to MM1 (I live really close) I filled my cooler with ice and a case of PBR, which exploded all over the car on the first hard turn chasing the Boston gang. What a cleanup. Didn't lose any though.
