It appears Roger is doing the right thing here (as usual). Tony & Tambra, Herman & Barbara have just booked 2 rooms at the Best Western, and also registered on www.928gt.com for a few of the SITM optional events. Looking forward to seeing everyone and their Sharks or ? in The Mountains in June. 77Tony

I can't wait to see all of those awesome cars in one place. Also to see how far my car has to go! I missed last year as I was moving the family to GA. I will be there for sure with the family so bring your kids if you can stand it and if they are young they can all play together!
Can't wait to meet everyone and have a few

Pretty sure you can keep up with AO.
(Stephans car may have a way to go, but that little, loud, blue car runs like stink, it shocked a few folks, myself included)

I booked my room at the Best Western for this year when I checked out last year!
I plan on hooking up with the crew that heads out from New England, every year on Thursday night in Waynesboro, VA. This year I booked the Holiday Inn Express, 20 Windigrove, Waynesboro, VA. We usually hook up with some others and meet at MM1 of the Blue Ridge Pkwy at 9AM on Friday for the run down to SITM. See ya there.

I may try to make it again this year although I may be an outcast without the 928.
I'm also going to try to find out if the new owner of the Beverly Hills Car can make it since he's pretty close (VA).
Can't we make this into a 928 OC sponsored event to help take the burden off of Specialist and open it to everyone?

I plan on stayin over late this year and exploring the area a bit! I'll have to ring up the western tomorrow and book, but I figure on rollin into banner elk on friday and staying around until the following friday, unless somethuing unforseen happens.
And I'll try to get up on time in waynesboro. It was all Jim's fault, I swear I didn't bring trhe spaten.

I'm still on the fence about going, but most likely will. If I go, I'll have a seat for you or Carl if interested.

Spyder is scheduled for late March build and I'm planning on picking it up in early May if all goes well. If it's not ready maybe I'll take the Speed3 again, I just need to remember to have the brake fluid flushed so I don't overheat and lose brakes again!

What's the plan?
Yes it's an open event. We basically take over the Best Western Hotel in Banner Elk, NC. For me, the journey there is as good (if not slightly better) than the destination. The Cherohala Skyway is to die for, along with Betsy's Gap, and the run through the Pisqua(?) National forest. Whoo Hoo!
Tony,
It would be a blast to have you drive your car out there - but as always, you've got a seat in mine. This year, I'll even let you drive it!

Andrew, what's the venue for Alcoa this year? Same as last?

Yep. Show up Thursday night. Swear that you're going to go to bed at a decent hour - but stay up until 2 or 3am anyway. Get up get some breakfast, and hit the Cherohala skyway and on in to Banner Elk.

Excellent!
If there's any changes in the GPS routing, let me know. I finally have last year's programmed into the new unit.
(I assume Brian's in for the tour?)
