I remember greg and I battling it out to the last minute on our resto's, I tore a cam seal and "F" at -2d days from liftoff on startup after spending 40 hours in the garage in 3 days, but took the wife's car down, he made it but caught a turkey on the way back. EPIC TRIP. I rode with cambo and hew nuked his transmission, then with Jadz928 and helped him with his lines through the tight stuff, then pearl broke or something for a year.
can't wait to see you fuitcakes again, will miss HACKER and his BEER!!!

There will be plenty of beer, just not as many empties if Erik is a no show, the real problem, as I see it, is that is Erik is a no show, Lorelei wont be there as well, which sucks.

I do have high hopes of Hans and Katie though, and a few others.

We need as many pretty women as we have pretty cars, to keep the balance of nature, well, balanced.

PS, dont look for me to help out, Uncle Mitch is my date, and is a damn near twin, so you know what that means.
Our race was fun, and if for not the issue with the seal, you would have won, hats off to ya man.

It's the little things like this make these project so much more rewarding once complete. I dug up the old excel torques sheet and printed another copy for my tool box the other day.

This morning, I went to back them and one nut is a little suspect. I can't get the nut off even after double nutting the other side.

Hopefully if anything I trashed the nuts and not the pin. I didn’t get to try today since a couple of the big washers were less than pristine. I decided to clean them up with a wire wheel and hit them with clear engine paint. I’ll find out tomorrow it they’ll hold 103.

Otherwise, isn't there some sort of nut cracker? I have a couple extra nuts it the pin threads look good. I might chase them just to be sure.
