Someone beat me in posting the AO picture... damn!

Hope to make it this year, have a new baby due in 3 weeks but I am still going to make an effort to get down there. Looks like a good time for sure!

Reminded me about a Tale of Two Cities... it was the best of times it was the worst of times! Then more good times!

Let's see first I drove my car to the Mountains and then to Hell... Yep, that's about it for 2010.

Can't wait to do it again and better start working on finishing the latest projects. Meh, plenty O time left.

I plan to leave Alcoa for SITM a hour early this year, so after about 20 minutes I can hear you guys when you blast past me.

When the one guy spun out trying to keep up I said, you guys go ahead.

AO and crew are fast and fearless, the Georgia hill billy, not so much.
That would be a good title for a movie, "The Fast and Fearless and the Hillbilly"
I don't know, this Hillbilly grandma in a Ford Focus was tough to keep up with:

I'm not kidding either.

5 months to fix everything.

I'll need real AC this year to keep the family happy.

She also had no clue what the double yellow line means.

Maybe a few people should watch this before the next mountain road run :-)

Few non car folks have any kind of lane discipline, and many of the car folks dont.

FYI for anyone thinking about booking the "suite".

It's really two adjoining rooms. One is a regular two twin bed hotel room.

The other has a pull-out hid-a-bed only, with a handicapped accessible shower that we discovered has the room for 8-9 people to shower together.

Don't invite Rudy though, SOB cannot keep a grip on the soap. Kept dropping it while announcing: "Whoops....I dropped the soap again!!" It got old after the 7th or 8th time.

It would be a great room to bathe the Llama's if the need arises.

I am seriously considering going to this. It would awesome to let the car stretch its legs a bit. Does anyone bring family along? My two boys are pretty eager to go on a road trip in the Shark. Won't be too long before they won't want to be caught dead being seen with their dad.

She was running moonshine. Her poor eyesight probably had her thinking y'all were the revenue collectors (that means the law you'all).
