Default 1991 928 Exclusive !!!

What is a Exclusive model ? They have rear flares just like GTS but are not GTS

How many of those were built ?

This one is on auction tomorrow in Japan.

Interesting car. If it is factory stock as claimed, then it got the rear flares through the Exclusive Program at Werk I.

I like the look of this car except for the weird Japanese front flares, they are not smooth in transition and remind me of an eighties Toyota Celica. Really ruins the sleek 928 shape.

Ah, didn't look closely enough, are those the strap-on JDM front flares? I could swear I've seen/read about/heard of a factory Exclusive program front flare set, guess these are not them. Does someone have a factory Exclusive program brochure with these pictured?

Are those rear reflector projection things on all Japanese cars? I think it needs the Aero mirrors to go with the painted wing. Those front flares are kinda ugly.

Interesting - the car doesn't have XC1 or XB4 - the exclusive department codes for rear fender flares.

Its likely those are GTS flares grafted on - its hard to tell without a side shot of the car; the XC1 arches are round and fit the shape of the wheel. The GTS flares could have bene fitted by Porsche - there's a few late '91 models around with them done by the dealers.

It does have full leather interior - definitely leather console, which means rear quarters, dash, door handles/armrests/cards etc. are leather. Looks from the poor quality photo like the pod may be leather too? I think I see a seam on it.

Funny - I saw a '91 "Exclusive" S4 this morning browsing Yahoo Japan's auctions.. and I just checked and its not the same one.

Also has rootwood console, full leather interior, and GTS flares, but its Amethyst.

There were some 91 S4's that were fitted with the GTS rear hips. I remember Nicole or someone speaking to that. A rare option indeed. The front fender flares are Japanese only market required by law.

I think this is a very rare optioned car. It also has a painted rear wing.
