This kinda came from here...
https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...rn-spring.html
And I found my sticky throttle that -has- caught on me a few times, tended to wanna do it at about 35mph speeds..and a tap of the pedal would free it.
I didnt find it, until cleaning the bearing grease from the quadrant lever shaft.

The wear..not counting the ridge of metal pulled up beside it, measures to about .008" uniformly.
So..im pretty sure that the inner lever was hanging up here.
I had already pressed out all of the bearings (6) to replace them anyway as part of a re-plating process..so I have no idea which two bearings were part of the problem here.
Not entirely sure what to do next here...probly get a used clean one.

I had a similar looking throttle junction bracket where it looks like the bearings are no longer turning properly. I picked up a used one in much better condition than mine, and replaced the bearings on the "fingers" - I think they were about $6 or $8 a pop. Much smoother feel with the new spindle and bearings. I did not have any sticking problems, but based on the spindle wear I would eventually have expected to see some issue in the system.

Correct the twisted wire cable acc. cable wears and a few whiskers sticking out can hang up.....also check the plastic foot guard on the console next to the foot pedal if loose the pedal can get stuck usually at or near full throttle ! The cable from the intake going down to the butterfly makes a U turn around a pulley under the air cleaner they can slip off the pulley and get caught on the side of the pulley....

Had a sticking throttle on a GM truck years ago. Turned out to be some build up inside the throttle body that the " butterfly " would catch on. Some spray cleaner removed the gunk and solved the issue.

I am not familiar w/ the 32v throttle cable.
My OB throttle is "sticky" as well. I have replaced (and also lubed) my cable... to no avail.
Also I have repeatedly squirted some MM oil into a vacuum port that leads into the top of the butterfly, and have witnessed the stuff soak out from the butterfly axle bushings a day later.
When I move the shaft by hand it feels very smooth. But when I move the pedal by hand it feels a bit "sticky". I have R/R'ed the pedal assy also.
I really don't know where the stickiness lay. It's only noticeable in smooth cruising conditions... in heated driving I don't really notice it.
I wonder if the higher output 4.7 has a stronger return spring, which might accentuate any drag in the system.
Anyway good luck. Please report your findings.
