Default Has anyone used Falken tires on there 928

I just wanted to know if anyone has used Falken tires on there 928. I'm thinking of getting the 912's in 225/60/15 for my phone dial wheels. There is not alot of choices in this tire size. So I was hoping to get some feedback from users of this tire on a 928. All the reviews for this tires are from Toyotas, Honda's ect.... and Buick LOL. Thx for any feedback.

I run 225/50/16 Falkens on my phonedials on the 81, and have been very pleased with them. However they do hang out over the edge of the rim, good for saving the rim from getting marked, not good on the tire wall itself.

I have FK-452 "Luxury Sport Tires" on my GTS, seem to be doing nicely so far (1+ yrs).

I had those on my '94 GTS for awhile. No problems... I wouldn't say they were great tires, but they did fine...lasted ok, I recall they got a little loud in the end... Mine were the ZIEX 512's...

James, mine are the ZIEX 512's, agree, a little noisy - put the later 912's on my daughters Euro and loved them - until i had to turn it over to her :-)

Neil, do the 912's look kind of like the 512's? Maybe I had 912's...been quite a long time since I had them... 5 years or so I guess.

Loved the 452s, just didn't last long. The trip to SITM finished off what was left. Running the ZIEX now, they don't seem to have the same grip, but appear to be lasting longer. I plan on going back to the 452 series.

Hi

I have run Falken 452s on my 928 for years, the 452 pattern is better than the 912, for performance driving or racing.

I ran them when on 16 (manhole covers) and now run them on my 18s... in 285/30 18.

They are a GREAT tyre in the dry and a GOOD tyre in the wet....

I buy a LOT of them lol as when using my Nitrous I go through a set of rears around every two months, but thats not the tyres fault....lol

All the best Brett

Falken GR Beta FK-451. IF you can find them. Nice and sticky. Compared well to the previous Perellis.
