Default Machine shop in SoCal for Block work...

Can anyone recommend a machine shop in Southern California that can bore my S4 motor to 104mm? I have a little project I'm trying to do.

I don't know who Greg Brown uses. I'd ask him. gregbbrd on here.

There was a place in san diego but I think I may have worn out my welcome.

Mark Anderson posted the shop, I know how to get there, but not sure of address or name.

Which pistons did you source? and why use an S4 block?

I've got two sets from 968's and plan to bore a 85/86 block.

I have used Top End Performance in North Hollywood on my 944 block, heads and crank with good success and price. http://www.racetep.com/

For Machining of the rotating pieces, obviously it has to be Taylor Machine in Whittier. They really great work. But unfortunately the always interesting Jay Steel has passed.

I have a 928 S4 motor I'm planning on putting into my race car. I have a Moldex crank, but have yet to order the pistons/rods. I plan on using CP's and Carrillo's. I wanted to get some feedback from those who have done block work on the S4 blocks.
