I've been visiting that forum for the past 5 years. I drool over the garage gallery and get ideas for my own garage.

Garage Journal has the usual forum noise, but dig a little and very solid advice is buried in the threads.
Its the second most expensive forum I know of, Rennlist is first. Until GJ I don't think I ever owned $100 worth of tools in my life, now $100 is a target for free shipping, and I have almost fleshed out a fairly complete set of tools.
I stay away from the Garage side, stick in the shallow end of just tools. The Garages are beyond amazing, ultimate man caves.

I always make it a note to show my wife the cool garages that other guys have. She's seen enough garages that she is on board with having the floors professionally epoxied and putting in a lift. Caveat is that I need to come up with the $$$.
Rick your garage is something to aspire to....very nice setup.

Many-year GJ reader here.
I'll offer that, if you can get the lift at the same time as or before you are ready for a new floor, don't waste your money on the epoxy. Go directly to porcelain tile with a good epoxy grout. Roller jacks can be tough on tile, must use a pad under them to avoid scratching and possible cracking. With a lift, that problem pretty much disappears.

Old thread, but I just found it on an unrelated search.
GarageJournal is a pretty great forum -- and like you guys say, very expensive. I started out there with what I thought was a finished garage and ended up re-doing every wall in my little 20x22 two-car.
I'm lucky my 911 is so small.

Just finished
Checked out that site and it's AOK. Just finished the garage/studio space yesterday. The 928 should be back from paint real soon, and I'll slide it in there. T

I saw your post on the GJ. I just love everything about it, from the drainage out front to the ivy on the gutter. Nice table, too.

Jack,
When I first went to the Garage Journal, I spent much time on your 12 Gauge Garage Thread. Love the story and all the things you did there!!
