Bump! Jerry, need any more encouragement? :-)

While replacing my shocks, I found the remains of a decomposing liner in my left rear wheel well...

Hi Stephan. Thanks for the bump. It is about time to give all some update on this project. I am finally able to get a little shelving up to put some of my crap up and out of my way. I'll continue with that at least until I have the space I need to set the blow oven upright off my welding table and finish it up. I met with my electrician yesterday to ask for some help with wiring the oven up, and he is going to help with that soon. I still have the material for some test versions of the liners when the oven is done and the forms are made. I don't think there will be too much work in doing the forms, but then again, I am usually too optimistic about that, aren't I?

I still have to finish up a project for Jimmy and that is in front, but getting very close to done.

I'll try to post some progress on this in the next week or two. Jerry Feather

Default Wheel liner progress

Bump. Jerry: No one should remember, but I posted a fix I fabricated with felt and flashing. I drove it in the rain for a couple hours last week to Hershey and it held up well. However the rest which is the rear and outside of the driver side is not doing so well. Long story short, I'm wondering how this is coming??

Hi Steve.

After several weekends of trying to clean up and organize my shop I can finally see the light. I don't have the shop just the way it needs to be, but I do have a bunch of space opened up and am cleaning up on Jimmy's project right now. I think I will be back on the liner project very soon and don't think it will take a bunch to get the forming oven and forms made to make what I have envisioned as a nice set of replacement liners for the GTS and even the earlier cars.

Thanks for staying tuned in on this project.

Yes I know. We had one of our kids on it some time ago, but I didn't notice any help from it for me when I tried it. I think mine is more of a character defect that ADD. Then, I suppose there might not be any difference.

What medication do you prescribe?

My kid almost ended up at Mesa State... That would've given me the perfect excuse to drop in and "motivate" Jerry... Darn it!

Mesa State College is going to be a University soon, but the name is still up in the air a little bit. Too bad he didn't come here. I can always use some 928motivation.
