Default no Porsches in Grand Turismo 5

Again, Porsche is not on the car list of Sony's Playstation 3 Grand Turismo 5 game. Such a shame!

EA Sports owns the rights and doesn't want to share. IMO it's for the best or there would be hundreds of threads on how much faster Porsche X would be in real life.

If the 928 were in GT5, imagine the outcry from Kibort if a bone stock 928 didn't outrun 99% of the field and then to find out the oil sponsor is Mobil 1 and even in the game the #2 rod bearing comes loose half way through a race.

Then the firestorm of threads after the engine shop portion adds 15hp with just a filter, and a triple disc clutch option is on the table......

I am addicted to GT5 and my 928's are suffering for it. My wife walked in last night and said,

"If I had known you would like the game so much I would have saved the money and bought it instead of the supercharger kit!"

D'oh! Man she plays mean.

Are cupholders worth $500 each to you? If not, consider this option: http://www.bobearlracing.com/

I've had one of these for several years, works great and collapses/stores easily and is very comfortable. Be sure to get the shifter bracket if you have a separate shifter.

Since any GT5 addict will surely pay the $600 price tag for the new Thrustmaster t500RS wheel / pedal set, you want the absolute best chassis to attach it to

The EA contract with Porsche is ending soon. I doubt however we will ever see a. 928 in this game. Would love it though!

Is Need for Speed Porsche Unleached the only game to ever have a 928?

Forza 3 has a nice list of Porsche.

Heck there's a delorean in there, and some much more obscure stuff. Maybe when the licensing to EA runs out they'll release a PORSCHE ALL MODELS pack. Now that would rock.
