Good post, thanks.

Wow.

Still needs endplay check, maybe midlife MM/OPG, etc but what a nice looking car on the surface.

I would bet an intake refresh is in the future as well.
Thats a great looking car though, the price seems OK, and some haggling ought to make it even lower

it has potential...but its safe to say it needs a BUNCH of delayed maintenance.... My guess is:

TB-waterpump (main seal, oil pump seals etc, maybe cam gears, rad hoses + all belts)
tune up with cap-rotors maybe coils
full intake removal for knock sensors, TPS and flappy & all lines
trans flush + PSD flush
Brake fluid flush-inspection

If you do the work yourself...I'd day $2k...if you pay someone...$4k

But you would end up with an excellent 90 S4 with low mileage

Its "Refill Washer Fluid"

Zoom in on the photo in your browser (Ctrl + Mouse Wheel) and the pictogram is clearly that one. (I did just check my '89's manual to make sre it couldn't be anything else)

Those wheels were used thru the '91 model year S4's. The Design 90's were an option.

Regardless of what it needs, that's a whole bunch of car for 13K.

Hard to go wrong, as long as the thrust bearing is good.
