There are examples of power sports seats but I believe only 4-way partially manual. I do think you could get heat on some model years too.

From a controls perspective they are basically the same - the only issues with the vacuum actuator is that its more prone to issues from leakage (as others have pointed out). When woking as intended its equally good...

Got any ideas of where to start on mine, it works after I put a reman control unit in, all the vacuum parts are good.

It just does not hold to what is set, varies by 4-5 MPH, and always goes down 2-3 MPH from the initial setting.

For me it's the lumbar support and heated seats, plus rub strip delete. Supple leather would be nice as well.

I haven't included Air Bags or Rear Screen Washer as they were't available on my MY.

Any examples of easily Retro-Fitting a Factory Option?
Rear Screen Washers (vs wipers?) were never a standard option in any model year - only available as a custom special from the factory.

I have added H4 Headlamps (an easy retrofit) Electric Headlamp Adjusters (a hard retrofit), ROW fog/aux lamps (a hard retrofit), rear washers (a quite complex install).

Most of what I have added were not yet factory options (but would have become std/options over time based on other Porsche model features - just in catch up mode...)

Mine did the same thing after I re-flowed the solder joints. I read somewhere that there is an electronic part in there that is used to modulate the speed and it goes bad.

I have a spare unit from a 89 that I may try, I have heard they will work in a vacuum system.
