Wow I remember driving through TX one night, as I recall it, the bad night for bunnies night.

OTOH a Volvo 5 mph bumper only required washing off the blood.

See, now let that be a lesson to you.
If you would have stayed home, minded the store, and may sure that all of our parts were getting shipped out. . . . . .
Ok Ok . . .I no, . . I no,
all work and no play makes Roger a dull jackalope hunter.

Roger you should find a vender that sells you stronger parts {;^)
I think if I bent a wheel from hitting a bunny, I would be looking fo a different brand.

BTW Glad you guys are OK.
Your deer in Taxas are the size of our bunnies

That's one tough way to tenderize a jacalope ...... now, I suppose you're going to tell me it tastes like chicken

Looks like that raccoon finally got some revenge, eh Roger?

Surprised at the rim damage though.

KE=1/2MV^2... could you guesstimate the jackalope's weight?

That's what I was going to say. Thought the armadillo was the Texas speed bump

Roger,

You can save $ if you use a .308 instead....

Even in TX I think they frown on somebody poking out the sunroof with a .308 clearing the path of rabbits.

That's an amazing amount of damage from a widdle gway wabbit wif antlers. My very first trip up the Cali central valley to a Devek event included a 70'ish impact with a 12-pack of cold beer. Bra was on, and the car smelled like a brewery as the cans exploded. I didn't want to stop and look. Miraculously, no damage whatsoever. Are you sure the jackalope wasn't hiding inside something bigger and tougher?

good thing you are one of the clique! If not you would be getting hammered with doing a buck-20 on public roads! Sorry to see your damage
