Congratulations!

If you want something different check out our nukes. We have lots of to keep you busy. Most days I'm knee deep in environmental 'issues'.

Great career choice.

Congratulations, that is a BIG achievement!! And I'm with you James, too much hard work! It's why I'm an ABD (that would be anything BUT dissertation).

I really can't believe it myself! Lot of hard work, and the research was very hard to come by. My thesis was on Yucca Mountain, and why it's not needed. The corruption between the DoE, NRC, and the contractors in the nuclear industry. How the technology exists to eliminate radioactivity with low-energy nuclear transmutation.
I think I'm going to teach, and stay in my field of engineering, try to pass some of the things I've learned to the next bunch of knuckleheads coming up.

Thanks to all for the support and well wishes! Some of the best people I've ever met are here on Rennlist!

Probably the only doctor with a death's head on his front porch.

Congrats! Now you have to go get a real job. AGAIN!

Seriously. I can only imagine taking one of your tests when you start teaching the new knuckleheads.

Joe your studies would change my mind regarding the future of automotive power. I was discussing this very subject with the president of our company a few weeks ago. He said his neighbor is a professor at one of the local universities and stated that the future is nuclear power for our cars rather than hydrogen (which is what I thought).

It may turn out that the future is a combination of hydrogen and nuclear since allowing nuclear power in the hands of the wrong people can be a huge problem. THen again who knows what the future holds. Hope to meet you at one of the upcoming events so we can talk more about this subject, it is really intriguing.
