I finally got a hold of Jack at Stuttgart Southwest after several places
either didn't call back or could not accommodate.

PPI was quoted at 2 hours of labor or $180.
Seems a little stiff -- but maybe not.

I have had some work done by Jack. He is a good guy and have been happy with his level of service.

Thx that helps
He certainly sounds like he knows his stuff

Frank comes off a little aloof,
Wish jack was one selling car
But at least I get a fair review

Think of it as an investment.

They do a professional PPI and detail all the stuff that is wrong and how much it will take to fix each thing.

You then use that PPI report to negotiate a lower price on the car.

win win.

What if seller says "It's already priced in"? I say this with no opinion about this car. My point is sometimes the issue is already taken into account; sometimes it is a surprise to both seller and buyer. Sometime ago, the GTS was FS. Prospective Buyer's wife stuck her finger in the exhaust pipe and complained about the soot. There were more complaints, but there was very little negotiation after that.

If the seller doesn't budge on an issue like that you
either accept it or walk -- and you call the PPI tuition
and be glad you are at least informed of the issue.

all thing in life come with a tuition -- you just hope you
learn from it and don't pay too much.

did you see this 928? I live in north Peoria AZ, and went to look at this one and it looks good, it has a lot of paint chips on the front. I feel this car would be worth a solid 6500. check it out.
